My Feline Friend: From Shy Kitten to Mischievous Companion

When my good friend Ms. Liu surprised me with a tiny kitten, I was thrilled. She met this little cat looks like homeless from the streets and decided to give her to me as a gift. I decided to name her Dollar, why named Dollar? I hope she brings me lots of dollars and happiness in future, lol.

At first, Dollar was very shy and scared. She spent most of her time hiding under the bed and only came out to eat or use the litter box. But as time went on, she started to warm up to me. She would slowly venture out from under the bed to explore her surroundings and would even jump onto my lap for a quick cuddle.

As Dollar grew more comfortable, she started to show her playful side. One of her favorite things to do was sit on my keyboard while I was working. She would paw at the keys and sometimes even lay down on them, making it impossible for me to get any work done. She also had a habit of knocking things off my desk and then running away, leaving me to clean up the mess.

Despite her naughty behavior, I couldn’t help but adore her. She had a strong personality and wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. Sometimes when I scolded her for doing something wrong, she would give me a little pat on the face as if to say, “I don’t care, I’m still the boss.”

One of my favorite things about Dollar was how she loved to cuddle. Whenever I took a nap or rested on the couch, she would jump up and snuggle with me, purring contentedly. She was also very talkative and would meow at me until I paid attention to her.

Dollar had a unique personality that I cherished. She wasn’t a very obedient cat, and she would often do the opposite of what I asked her to do. For example, I would ask her not to jump onto the kitchen counter, but she would do it anyway and then stare at me defiantly. However, I loved her for her independence and her playful spirit.

As Dollar and I spent more time together, we became good friends. I loved how she would greet me at the door when I came home from work and how she was always there to make me laugh when I was feeling down. She had a special place in my heart, and I knew that I was lucky to have her as my feline friend.

We’ve been living for almost for one year, Dollar was a wonderful addition to my life. From her shy beginnings to her mischievous antics, she brought me endless joy and laughter. Even though she had a mind of her own, it doesn’t affect our relationship. If you have no pet, I will recommend you can get one 🙂
